Card Made For A Challenge

This card was made for a challenge on PCP for one of the
groups I belong to - 'Anything But Cute'.  The theme is
Cherry Blossom Festival.  I just googled 'Cherry Blossoms'
and found this very nice drawing.  The background paper I
had in my slash - have lots of Japanese paper - all given as gifts.
I decoupaged the drawing a little and cut it out using a
Nestability on my Cuttlebug, and then put glitter around the
edges.I added some lace and some contrasting ribbon. The
medallion I printed out, put it on card and then cut out and
hung it on a piece of wire. 

Here is a card using a freebie digi, Littleaurora, from a set
by  Tanika Iswandari - do check out her site. The digi has
been decoupaged a little. Paper from Generations prettysimple
stacker, and Dot sparkler stickers from Stupendous. 

New Card For A 6 Year Old

Here is a card I made for a 6 year old who is mad
about any type of truck, tractor etc. found on a
building site.  He has probably hundreds of toy
trucks, tractors etc., videos and books on the
subject and probably dreams about them too!!
The truck I found by googling truck clipart and
I made a matching background using the same
picture. I decoupaged the truck and added
a little glitter. I used my Cuttlebug for the
scalloped oval and added 3 buttons to a
 strip of ribbon.  I inked around the shape
and around the backgrounds for the
Happy Birthday Zach and the No.6. I
hope Zach will like his card when he
gets it in a few days time.

Tuesday Trio Challenge No. 57

I have entered the following card to the Tuesday Trio
Challenge, following a sketch they gave. The challenge
is 'Favorite Things'. We need to use 3 of our favorite
things and then write what they are. Mine are:
Ribbons, glitter and digis.  The digi image is from
Allthatscraps.com and the name is Birgitta. I think
she is very sweet and I loved colouring her. The
sentiment is from a stamp I have and I heat
embossed it.

The challenge is open until Sat, March 19th,
at 23:59. (Israel time).

Stamped Images

This time I have tried my hand at crafting using
stamps. I still have a lot of practicing to do!
I cut out two different sizes of scalloped circles,
the larger one on patterned paper and the
smaller one on white, the latter which I
stamped with a butterfly and gave it an extra
layer using card, and then put a matching colour
around the edges. I also glittered the
patterned paper around the edges with
dots. The sentiment I stamped and then heat
embossed it using clear embossing powder.
I used an embossing folder on the strip of
paper behind the sentiment and added ribbon.

Medallion Card

This card uses an image called 'Curly Flower Medallion' by
Tracey from 'Fred She Said'.  It was already coloured.  Do
visit Tracey's Website, there is a link on the right side of my
blog. This medallion was one of her freebies. I decoupaged
the medallion just a little, added a brad in the
middle and added some glitter and  rhinestones. I like to
use medallions because you can size them any size you
want and can make as many layers as you wish.
