Here's a card I did for Mami Doodles Challenge No.26. It was to
use spots and/or lines. I used a Mami Doodles image called
"Girl with Tulip". Background I made myself and if any one
is interested in a copy of the background, I shall be happy to
send you - just let me have your email address.

Using a friend's drawings on my cards
My friend Eva Hartmen is an artist and one day I suggested
that I use her drawings on my cards, and that is what
I have done. Isn't the Panda cute and the Japanese scene is
lovely too? Here is a link to where Eva displays her paintings :

These certainly are one of a kind cards.
Wish I could draw!

HatLady Digital Stamp by Linda Tieu
Yesterday I download a lovely freebie called HatLady and
really had fun colouring her. Isn't she cute! I used a
scalloped edge circle from Nestabilities and patterned
paper from The Glitter Mat Stack of DCWV I did
a little decoupage on the image, which I see people are
now calling paper piercing. The sentiment is from a
stamp I have.

Rose by Priscilla Styles
Today I opened the CDAC site and discovered
I'd won a digi stamp from a blog hop I did on
the Just Some Lines group. That was a nice
surprise.
This morning I also downloaded a digi stamp
by one of my favourite artists - Priscilla Styles
and this is the card I made using her digi stamp.
I used the Nestabilies Lacey Ovales, dot sparker
stickers and my own sentiment (it can be downloaded
from an earlier post on this blog). On the rose I
used a little decoupage.

Cards for Teenage Boys
I think it is much easier to make baby cards, wedding
cards, general cards than it is to make cards for teenagers,
especially boys. I went through some clip art discs
I have and came up with the following cards. I mainly
want them to be for boys aged 13, as that is a special
birthday for them (their Barmitzvah) and not everyone
wants to send cards with a religious picture on the card.
