Card For An 80 Year Old Woman

I was asked to make a card for an 80 year old - always difficult
to know what type of card to make for this age group.  I did
know that the woman likes Israeli folk dancing, so I googled
and chose an image that I could also decoupage just a little.
As a 3 times a week IFD I knew the type of image I wanted.
Just received some Petaloo flowers, which I have used on this
card. Aren't they lovely?

Pattie's Creations Challenge #66 – Anything But A Card

It's already time for our next challenge at Pattie's Creations
and this is my first gift bag, which wasn't difficult to make.
I took the pattern from a CD I have.  I love the image.  I
have been meaning to grow my own herbs for years, but
I just don't get down to it.  I don't have a garden or balcony,
but I do have a railing outside my salon that I can hang
flower pots from.

Do take part in this challenge.

Wedding Card

I like to make wedding cards and have made a couple recently.
BF came back with lots of "goodies" for me, so that was nice.
I now have some glossy accents and have tried it out on
another card, which I shall put up too. I enjoy looking at
videos to see how other crafters make their cards and what
products they use. I do want to try out some different
card folds and found a nice list of card folds at
Beccysplace.blogspot.com.

CDAC Challenge - Anything Goes

I've made a few cards lately, I just can't stop.  I have so
many lovely digis, just need more time in the day. Following
is a card using a lovely digi from Cuddlebug Cuties - just
love them, and they suit cards for the older young person
(hope that makes sense), which are sometimes difficult
to find.

I joined CDAC (Crafters Digital Art Center) some time
ago and visit there very often. I belong to a few groups
but am quite active only on one - this is only because
of the time factor.  This is a great site for making
friends, learning and receiving free digis.  I am on
the DT of two of the groups and this keeps me
busy too.  I tell my friends I keep out of mischief
this way!

Pattie's Creations Challenge #65 - Make It Sparkle

I won a prize in the CDAC Challenge - $12 to pick up
images from  Nana Vic's Shop.   It was fun shopping
and I look forward to using the images and Word
Art I chose.

Go and visit Petaloo - there are some great prizes
going there. They have teamed up with Bella Blvd
and their projects are just fab.

I hope some of you took part in Pattie's Creations
Blog Hop and enjoyed it.  Our next challenge is
to make a card that 'sparkles' – so here is my
sparkly card.  I used glitter on her bodice and
wings, added a shiny star and flourish and used
sparkler stickers, the background  paper is also
sparkly.
