Here is a card that I made for the Tuesday Trio Challenge.
I have made hundreds of cards, but have never followed
a sketch before. Actually I think it is easier just to do
your own design as you go along! This is a digi
image from Mami Doodles. This card made Top 3
in the Tuesday Trio Challenge.

Time for More Digi Freebie Sentiments
Here are another couple of sentiments - the wording
can be coloured (see example) - I have also included
a digi without a sentiment. I think they would look nice
as decoupaged flowers, but I haven't tried that out yet.
Enjoy!

My Cards are Featured!
This week I have had two cards featured on
http://mamidoodles.blogspot.com/
It is nice when someone likes your crafting.
The digi stamps of Elisa Nishimura are really nice
and you should take a look at her blog.

Using Clip Art
Clip art is another way of finding pictures to use when card
making. The two pictures used here are both from a clip art
CD. It is quite difficult finding pictures for a Barmitzvah card
- hint hint to those of you who can draw! I have used my
nestabilities for both cards. On the second card I cut out
the same shape again and attached the two together, so it
makes a pattern around the outside. The paper on the
first card is from "My Mind's Eye."

A Card Using Ribbon
I really like adding ribbon to cards and I would love to
have lots of ribbon at home. Here I used ribbon
more as background and added a little bow (I make
these small bows using a fork!) in the front. I used
Swiss Dots Embossing on the mat behond the digi.

New Baby Cards
Made some new cards this week. I seem to spend more time
looking at other people's work and trying to learn more about
crafting, than actually making stuff. I had a problem with the
card "It's a Boy" because I wanted to use vellum, which I had
embossed for the background but couldn't find the correct
glue for it, so I used brads instead. If anybody knows of a
glue for vellum, please let me know. I could have used
double-sided tape, but that would have shown through and
I didn't want to have to cover that up on the other side.
Anyhow, I think it looks fine with the brads. The
background paper on the "It's a Girl" card is from
