First of all some news - I am now on the DT of Doodle Garden -
and I am very excited about this, as it is the first DT I have been
on - although I have designed before. The owner of Doogle Garden
is Jennifer Nilsson and her digis are very cute - worth taking a look
at her blog. The DT officially start on July 1.
Now for my picture. I wanted all my figures to have wings, and I
found a 'fairyhouse' to suit the picture. Tutorial of how I
made the picture follows, so continue reading. I still need to take
the picture to be framed. It's a pity I couldn't capture all the
glitter on the flowers. (Think I need a course in photography).
I used hardboard 28cm x 21.5cm.

Patterned paper - Colorbok - Pattern Pack - Spring Morning
Spellbinders - Carnation Creations
Glitter Foam - from Wal-Mart
The white scrapbook paper is stuck to the hardboard,
then the patterned paper is cut slightly smaller than the
white paper and stuck on top
The two papers stuck together
The images are coloured (using a computer), cut out and
ready to stick to the background. Parts of each image were
also cut out in order to do a little paper piecing
The 'fairyhouse' is coloured and printed onto vellum
The vellum is attached to the patterned paper using glue dots
Starting to add images and embellishments until picture is finished.
Hope you like this tutorial.

Card For Milk Coffee Embossing Challenge
I wanted to do a card for a 'young person' and therefore used
this delightful image. I have just hours to add it to the
challenge but I'm having trouble because my internet keeps
going off - so I'd better get down to it now!

A Wedding Card
I am getting adventurous - I made a card a different shape to
what I usually make! My sis gave me a few oblong cards, so I
might as well make use of them. I was thinking of this shape anyway
and had already bought envelopes to use. On second thoughts
I did make a gate fold card recently, which was easy to do - as a
rule I don't look for difficult!

Here is a card I have designed for Jennifer Nilsson using
her pretty image - Flower Sitter. Do visit her new blog
to see her lovely digi images. She has also started to
give challenges. I'm off for a few days to visit Vienna,
so I'll be back next week. Don't think I'll get to any
craft shops as I'll only be there for a full two days,
and there's lots of sightseeing I want to do.

An Invitation to Tea!
Here's a card for someone from England - to remind
them of teatime there! I've been watching a lot from
the celebrations going on in London now, and would
have liked to have been there. I remember as a young
child I would collect photos from the newspapers of
the Royal Family and can even remember what the
album looked like, and even some of the pictures!

A Gate Fold Card
Lots of cards lately. I am trying to get more adventurous
with my cards, but not too much luck - I only do 'easy' at
the moment. Here, though, I did manage to do a Gate
Fold card, which, of course, is easy to do - especially
if you have a Scor-Buddy to help you. I did mean to
go around the shape with colour, but remembered after
I had stuck it down!! But sometimes these look good
as they are. Hopefully this is so in this case.
