Freebie Christmas Plaids

Here are a couple of plaid patterns that you can use on
your Christmas cards.  As I don't celebrate Christmas,
I shall use them for other types of card, but I so enjoy
learning different things using PS, that I decided to do
something that can be used by others.  Any feedback
welcome.  Don't forget that by using Word for sizing
you can use the cropping tool to make it any size
you want.  I use this tool a lot. Hope you like them.

Baby Boy Card

I love to make baby cards, so here is a cute card for
a baby boy.  On the sentiment I used Glossy Accents,
which I am quite new to, but love to use. I shall look
for a challenge or two to enter the card. For a change
I used a ready coloured image, which I don't do very
often.

Tomorrow, Friday, there will be a new challenge at
Pattie's Creations.  The theme is "Anything Goes."
Do join us there.

Pattie's Creations Challenge #74 - Anything Goes

Well, I am now nearing the end of my time on the DT at
Pattie's Challenges. I started in November of 2012 and
finish this September.  During this period I was also on
Nana Vic's DT, but she had to close her blog after a
few months.  The DT's kept me on my toes, but I think
I'll take a break now and just get on with my cards and
scrapbooking.  I expect after a short while I shall look
for another team to join.  I have booked to take part in
a craft fair in November, so I am already busy preparing
for that - and yesterday somebody ordered 20 cards
from me, so my crafts table is going to remain untidy
for a while yet!

Here is my card for our next challenge - "Anything Goes"
which starts this Friday, 23rd August, and I hope you
will join in this challenge.

Pattie's Creations Challenge #73

The theme for this challenge, at Pattie's Creations, was to
make a card using any type of embossing.  This suited me
as I really like to use my Cuttlebug for embossing and then
using a sanding block to bring out the background colour.
I also did some embossing on the flower, but didn't use the
sanding block on it.

Noa at Camp in New Jersey - 2013

My granddaughter Noa, who is now 13, has just spent a
month at a camp in New Jersey, and as I didn't do her a
scrapbook page for her birthday, I made one for her to
remember the great time she had at camp.

I enjoyed doing this page as I learnt how to use a brush
to make the filmstrip.  Everything takes me ages to do,
but I get to what I want in the end - well, not always!

Now I have started another SB page for my 5 year old
grandson, and he's at the stage where he likes Superman,
Spiderman and Batman, so at least I know where to
start.  Watch this space!
