A General Card

It's been a little quiet on my blog lately, but I have 

now made some new cards.  I've been very lucky 

as by making comments on other blogs I have won 

prizes and yesterday I received two parcels -

one from Xyron and one from Scrapbook Adhesives

 - I received lots of lovely goodies.

Time For Another Card!

The other day I bought a cricut Cuttlebug die called

Flower Vine and of course had to try it out.  It fits the

whole of the front of the size of cards I use, but it can

be cut up too.  I was going to make it into a birthday

card, but bf said it was more like a wedding card. I

shall use it for both. It cut and embossed without

any trouble, but I did pull it through the Cuttlebug a

few times, just to make sure.  I haven't tried it out

on thicker paper yet, just regular printing paper. I

think this die will be great for decoupage too. 

Stenciling is also another possibility.

 

Won another prize, this time from Xyron - should arrive

within 3 weeks.

Pattie's Creations Challenge #90 - Easter

My prize from Core'dinations has arrived and I received a

lovely surprise at all the goodies I received.  I now have enough

cards, envelopes, tags and cardstock for a long time to come!  It

certainly is worthwhile taking part in Core'dinations challenges.

More Guy Cards

I've been a bit quiet here because I have been busy.

I had to prepare for a bazaar and then bf had a visit

from his daughter and we traveled to Jerusalem for

a few days. We stayed at a lovely boutique hotel

called Mount Zion, which has beautiful views

over the Old City.   

Hooray, I won first prize on Sami Stamps Challenges

with the 'green' challenge, so now I can have some

fun choosing some digital images.  I really love her

style of drawing.

and the DT have done some lovely cards for this

challenge.

Following are some of the guy cards I have made

recently.  I am not writing any details on them of

materials used, but if anyone has a question, I shall

be only too happy to answer them. The last two

images are from CD's I have. The sailing boat I

have is on a decoupage sheet, but I don't have

the name of the artist. (Now I note all the artists).

Sami Stamps Challenge #011

I haven't entered any challenges lately as I've been

busy getting ready for a Crafts Fair, but there are

only so many cards that I need.

Sami Stamps has a challenge until 31/3 - the theme is

Use Some Green, and her DT have made some lovely

cards.
