The other day I saw that Jessica Weible Illustrations were looking for
Paper Crafters. I wrote and said that I would be interested and this
is the first card I have made for them using one of their cute digital
images.
I didn't have the confidence before to apply for this type of position.
All I have to do is ask for an image and then make a card using the
image. What fun!
I coloured RollerSkateKate using PS and then cut out the image
using Nestabilities Lacey Ovales. I used 'core'dinations' cardstock
for the card and green background. The patterned cardstock
is from a 'quite contrary' paper pad. I used Cuttlebug embossing
folder Swiss Dots on the green background and went around it
with a distressing tool. The embellishments I took from the image.

Yehela's 5 - Scrapbook Page
Yehela, one of my grandchildren, turned 5 last week and this is
the page I did for her. I put the three photos into different
shapes using PS. (I learn as I go!!). I cut strips of different
patterned papers to use for the background and matted
each photo, with the same colour cardstock. I wote out
some of Yehela's likes on mt masking tape. I used punches
on the edges of a couple of the strips. I am so busy making
greeting cards, but I make a point of doing a scrapbook
page of each of my grandchildren every year - and a card,
of course!
