Yehela's Scrapbook Page For Her 7th Birthday

As I have written before, I like to make each grandchild
a scrapbook page for their birthdays.  If I didn't have such
an occasion I don't think I'd get any done!  Here was my
opportunity to get started on the cardstock pad that I won
on the Core'dinations blog.  I love this cardstock, but
unfortunately cannot buy it in Israel.  So I'll have to
participate in more challenges until I can get to the
UK or the USA, not likely in the coming months!!

I am open to many styles of scrapbooking, but this is
the style I like at the moment.  I usually do a quick
print of the photos first, so that I have an idea of size
and colour, and then I use pattern cardstock that
goes together with the photos.  A couple of friends
asked if I'd missed out the word 'birthday' but I
explained I just wanted the word 'Happy"!  Isn't the
grey paper fab?  I sanded it and also went around
the edges to get a lovely colour coming through.

Time For A Guy Card

A friend called and asked me to make a card for
her son-in-law. She said he was keen on motor bikes,
a specific type, and after googling, this is what I came
up with.  I hope he will like it.
