A Picture for Yehela's Room - + Tutorial

First of all some news - I am now on the DT of Doodle Garden -
and I am very excited about this, as it is the first DT I have been
on - although I have designed before.  The owner of Doogle Garden
is Jennifer Nilsson and her digis are very cute - worth taking a look
at her blog.  The DT officially start on July 1.

Now for my picture.  I wanted all my figures to have wings, and I
found a 'fairyhouse' to suit the picture. Tutorial of how I
made the picture follows, so continue reading.  I still need to take
the picture to be framed.  It's a pity I couldn't capture all the
glitter on the flowers.  (Think I need a course in photography).
I used hardboard 28cm x 21.5cm.

Patterned paper - Colorbok - Pattern Pack - Spring Morning
Spellbinders -  Carnation Creations
Glitter Foam - from Wal-Mart

The white scrapbook paper is stuck to the hardboard,
then the patterned paper is cut slightly smaller than the
white paper and stuck on top

 The two papers stuck together

The images are coloured (using a computer), cut out and
ready to stick to the background.  Parts of each image were
also cut out in order to do a little paper piecing

The 'fairyhouse' is coloured and printed onto vellum

The vellum is attached to the patterned paper using glue dots

Starting to add images and embellishments until picture is finished.

Hope you like this tutorial.

Card For Milk Coffee Embossing Challenge

I wanted to do a card for a 'young person' and therefore used
this delightful image.  I have just hours to add it to the
challenge but I'm having trouble because my internet keeps
going off - so I'd better get down to it now!
