High Heels and Flowers - Dearie Dolls

Two posts in one day - not bad!  Here's a card I made using
a digi stamp by Mary Ellen - this is the first digi stamp I have
used drawn by this artist.  She draws very cute images, good for
all occasions and she gives away her digis. Worth visiting
her blog, 'Dearie Dolls'.

I would like to point out that the background comes from
a photograph that I took - it's a good way to make use
of photographs.  I really enjoy taking photographs in
gardens. Pity I don't have one!  In a future post I shall
show you another way to use your photographs - not
necessarily flowers.  If anyone else has ideas, let us
know.

I am putting this card into a challenge at CDAC in the
Seasonal Challenges.

Card For An 80 Year Old Woman

I was asked to make a card for an 80 year old - always difficult
to know what type of card to make for this age group.  I did
know that the woman likes Israeli folk dancing, so I googled
and chose an image that I could also decoupage just a little.
As a 3 times a week IFD I knew the type of image I wanted.
Just received some Petaloo flowers, which I have used on this
card. Aren't they lovely?
