CDAC Progressive Challenge #8

I really like the images given out this month and this
time I have used an image by Jehanne from
Just Some Lines.

The background of kennels and the one of dog
bones I have had for ages and just didn't manage
to use them until this opportunity.  It's a great
dog image and I enjoyed colouring it, adding
real print to the newspaper.  The background
with the writing on comes from DMD - I have
just noticed they are adhesive mats!  I went
around the bone cardstock with a distressing
tool.  I used blending foam to go around the
background with writing and the nestabilities
shape.  The sentiment I did.

Birthday Cards For My Daughters'

This month I had 3 birthday cards to make - my three daughters'
have their birthday on the same day!  My twins were born on
their sister's 4th birthday.  I usually make all the cards using the
same theme but using different colours, as you will see.

The cardstock is from a die-cut cardmaking pad from K&Company
designed by Julianne. I embossed the front of each card using
Cuttlebug and Zizzix dies. I then went over the embossing with
sandpaper and went over just the green card with green ink.
The sentiment is from Sending Treasures and the lovely flowers
are from Petaloo. The flowers on the green card are tea dyed
and I went over the flowers on the other two cards with ink.
I then put silver sparkle on all the flowers and rhinestones in
the middle of the small flowers.
