I
must admit that it took me ages to get my
mini
sewing machine going. It was very
difficult
to get the cotton thread up from the
bobbin,
luckily I did not give up and in the
end
watched a video on Youtube, which
helped
me understand exactly what to do.
I
did a swap with one of my granddaughters'
–
I gave her my full-size SM and she gave
me
her mini SM. My machine stood for many
years
in a cupboard that I cannot reach and
now
it is too heavy for me – apart from
the
fact I have nowhere to put it out!
Getting
to the point – this is the first card I
have
made using stitching, and I shall be
using
the SM again. The good thing about
making
hand crafted cards, is that the work
doesn't
have to be perfect!!
My first test!

Lovely card...love the colour coordination.
ReplyDeleteJackie, your card is adorable. You did a great job on the stitching. I love stitching on a card but, like you, my machine is in an inconvenient place. Thank you for joining us at CDAC for the Anything Goes Challenge. Looking forward to more of your work.
